Police had been on the hunt for the perpetrator of a fatal shooting that took place last November in Bartow. Those who witnessed the homicide, which took place on Osprey Lane, said the shooter fled in a pickup truck.That man was recently arrested.
Using descriptions provided by the witnesses, the police were able to identify Garza as a suspect. Police apprehended Garza after his truck was spotted in Bartow and he is currently in police custody. He as been charged with attempted homicide, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
The Bowling Green Police Department had also issued warrants for Garza’s arrest in relation to a drive by shooting earlier this year.
